A scientific committee of the Supreme Court recommended a moratorium on trials of Bt crops in India
A scientific committee of the Supreme Court , to whom Dr Shiva Navdanya submitted piles of material recommended a moratorium on trials of Bt crops, ban on crops of which India is a centre of diversity, and evaluation of Herbicide tolerant crops for the Indian context of small biodiverse farms.
