More than 400 people participated in the Public hearing. Of these 110 were local dignitaries, Govt. Officers, College and University Professors, volunteers, University, College & school students, guardians and 211

farmers including 49 women farmers drawn from Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak districts of Odisha.

Balasore declaration on Vision 2020 for Organic Odisha was also prepared by the farmers and group of Scientists that was given to the local representatives..
